Best Baseball Players

Tyler Herbst, Baseball

Baseball is a game that has been played for countless years in different countries. As a result, the baseball world has been able to gift its fans with numerous young stars who have made history. Some of the best ones included in this list are Bryce Harper, Carlos Correa, Corey Seager and Madison Bumgarner, which have their names in the Hall of Fame of this game. But not just this. There are a lot of young pups who have been able to accomplish a lot like the previous winners.  Although they still might have a long way to go and reach where their ancestors are, they have still made an effort to make themselves seen.

This article looks at the top and the best baseball players. So, let us have a look at some of them.

Jimmie Foxx

Jimmie Foxx joined the athletics team at the age of 17 but fully earned his playing time when he was 20 years old. He held a record of hitting .328/.416/.548. With a lot of effort and hard work, he was able to get into the American League with a hitting record of .325/.428/.609. Considering all of this, we can easily say that Jimmie was great at hitting baseballs, and his hard work paid off.

Mel Ott

Mel Ott is one of those players playing with the New York Giants and made some pretty good scores. He registered an OPS above 1.000 in almost seven of the 22 seasons he played.  He later retired with a slash line of .304/.414/.533, 511 home runs and 155 OPS+. He was able to earn a good reputation and become a well-known and well-respected baseball player.

Ricky Anderson

Ricky Anderson seems to have the lowest batting average, which is .279. This made him a problematic inclusion over frank Robinson and even Mike Schmidt. But, even then, he got a .401 on-base percentage and 1406 stolen bases walked.  Ricky’s first-class patience and baserunning acumen set a benchmark that is difficult for all the other leadoff hitters who followed after him.  We also have some notable mentions like Ned Williamson, who held the record for the most home runs in one reason at the mere age of 27.

These players are just some of the best baseball players in history. There are other passionate players who are working hard and are struggling to be included in this list.
